Ordering

My February 2024 production run is now full and closed for additional orders. I am now taking orders to start in June 2024.

Process.

I build instruments in production runs of six instruments which start three times per year in February, June and October. Instruments take approximately 6 months from start to finish, however, this can extend slightly for instruments with more complex specifications.

Consultation.

I pride myself on providing an engaging consultation process so that we may arrive at instrument specifications that meet both your performance needs and your aesthetic taste. I provide digital mockups for approval as well as a detailed specification sheet and cost breakdown. We can go back and forth as many times as necessary until you are completely happy with your instrument’s specifications. This process can last anywhere from a few days to several weeks.

Payment.

A 40% deposit is required to begin construction of your instrument. The balance plus the cost of shipping is due the week before the instrument is forecast to be ready to be shipped. For international orders, any import fees, tariffs or other associated costs are the responsibility of the client.

Construction Progress.

I provide routine updates and photographs of your instrument while in construction. I do put some updates to my social media accounts, however, I provide additional updates and photographs by email to clients who are interested.

It sometimes happens that clients decide they would like changes made after construction has begun. While I do my best to accommodate such changes, there may be additional costs if work must be repeated or if new components need to be sourced or produced. I also reserve the right to refuse certain changes.

Delivery.

I use UPS Standard shipping as it provides a good balance of delivery speed and affordability. I am also able to provide the lowest costs using this method through discounts my business receives based on shipping volume. Other shipping services can be used if clients prefer and in all cases, these costs are billed to the client.

All instruments are shipped in appropriately padded cardboard boxing inside of their cases. I do not ship instruments without cases.
